Questions about battery storage
Do I need solar panels?
Not necessarily. Some systems can charge from the grid as well as from solar panels. The right approach depends on the equipment, your tariff and when you use electricity.
Can I add a battery to existing solar panels?
Compatibility needs checking. Send the make and model of your inverter, any system paperwork and what you would like to achieve.
Will it work during a power cut?
Backup is not automatic with every battery. If this matters to you, tell us which appliances or circuits you want to support so we can discuss the equipment and additional work required.
How much could I save?
There is no single figure that fits every home. Savings depend on installation cost, usable capacity, energy use, tariff and any solar generation. We won’t promise a fixed saving or payback period.
How much does installation cost?
Battery capacity, equipment choice, positioning and changes to the existing supply affect the quote. We start with your needs and assess the property before recommending a system.
