Questions about sockets & switches
Can you add an extra socket?
We’ll assess the existing circuit and the proposed position before recommending how to add it. Tell us what you plan to use it for and where you need it.
Can you replace sockets with USB versions?
Send the product details if you have a particular model in mind. The fitting, space available and existing wiring need checking before installation.
Will adding a socket damage the wall?
The cable route and wall construction determine the work. We’ll discuss visible finishes and any making good rather than assume every extra socket is a simple swap.
Can you do several small jobs in one visit?
Send the complete list when enquiring. We can discuss the time, materials and access needed to plan the work together.
What if the socket is damaged or gets hot?
Stop using the affected socket and arrange an assessment. Do not remove the cover or attempt a repair yourself. Tell us what you have noticed when you call.
